"The PUDU CC1 is like a colleague who
never misses work."
Mr. Schneider, how long have you been using the PUDU CC1?
Since November 2024. Since then, the cleaning robot has been taking care of our sales area every day. Previously, an external cleaning company came twice a week for a total of four to five hours – that's now a thing of the past.
And the other areas?
Our own cleaning staff takes care of the offices. The shelves are dusted by our employees, as before.
Were there any challenges with the cleaning company?
Definitely. Sick leave, holidays, special events – everything had to be coordinated well in advance. Now everything runs flexibly and reliably. There is no administrative or organisational effort involved. The robot is ready whenever we need it.
How did you decide on the CC1?
I know Thomas Rötlisberger from GetDone personally. He told me about the robot – and I was immediately curious. After the test run, it was clear to us: we want it.
How did the introduction go?
Smoothly. GetDone provided us with great support, the service is first-class. I did the employee training internally. The CC1 is easy to understand and quick to integrate.
How is the robot being received by the team?
Very well! It usually runs in the morning when the employees arrive and doesn't bother anyone – on the contrary: it is perceived as a modern aid.
And with customers?
The CC1 is a real eye-catcher – with its blinking eyes! Many customers stop, watch and smile. The CC1 is a talking point and shows that our branch is moving with the times.
What area does the robot clean?
Around 800 m² of indoor space – the outdoor area is not currently included.
What kind of floors do you clean – with or without cleaning agents?
Easy-care hard floors. The cleaning agent is dispensed automatically via the docking station. We save on cleaning agents and contribute to environmental protection at the same time.
What specific improvements has the robot brought about?
Daily cleanliness, ready for use at any time, minimal effort: 2 minutes to start, 10 minutes to clean up afterwards. Maximum effect with minimum effort.
And in rain or winter?
This is where the CC1 shows its strength: the floor remains clean throughout – even in bad weather with a lot of dirt.
What about the costs?
The robot costs about as much as two years of external cleaning. If it runs for five years – and we assume it will – three years are virtually ‘free’.
What do you personally appreciate most about the CC1?
It is easy to use, space-saving, automated – and it works reliably. Our customers have responded positively, and we are showing that we think innovatively as a branch.
Would you recommend the CC1 to others?
Absolutely. I have already had several interested parties visit us who wanted to see it in action. The CC1 brings real added value – we would not part with it!
